Music is important to our worship. Of all the arts, music has always been one of the most important in the life and witness of the Christian community. Through music, Christians have sought to praise their Creator and Savior, singing of his greatness, goodness and love.
The choir at Second Presbyterian Church contributes regularly to our worship services, adding great beauty and warmth to the ministry of the Word. The special music adds to our worship during Advent and other seasons of the church year.
- The Chancel Choir, directed by our Director of Music, Kevin Ford, is made up of professional singers and talented church members. Rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM.
- Vocalists, instrumentalists and ensembles also contribute regularly to worship.
